A jewelled butterfly spreads across a pointed shoe; a matching top-handle bag answers with an ornate buckle. Rendered in warm yellow, the pairing captures the decorative spirit of Roger Vivier’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, Vivier en Fleur.
Presented at the Maison during Paris Fashion Week on 1 October, the collection sees creative director Gherardo Felloni revisit the house archive. Recognisable codes return with altered proportions and a fresh sense of colour, allowing familiar signatures to take on a different character.
The title means “in bloom”, a reference to the way Felloni approaches those signatures. Proportion, context and function are open to change, with instinct guiding how an archival detail might find another expression.
The collection imagery gives that idea a vivid visual setting. Against a violet backdrop, pale slingbacks pair lavender and green with large rectangular buckles and sculpted heels. A dark flower rises behind them, echoing the collection’s botanical title without competing with the shoes’ clean lines.

Elsewhere, cool blue bags are densely embellished around their rectangular clasps. Their structured forms and sparkling surfaces create a different mood from the soft colours of the slingbacks. A third composition turns to warm yellow, pairing a pointed shoe with a small top-handle bag and elaborate butterfly ornaments.

Across the three images, the buckle remains a strong visual anchor, even as colour and decoration shift. That recognisable outline gives Felloni room to experiment. For Vivier en Fleur, the house’s past supplies a starting point for accessories with a brighter, more playful presence.
