Etro’s Spring/Summer 2027 womenswear collection begins with the effect of light on a familiar surface. Halo, presented in Milan on 23 September, takes the house’s prints and makes them appear blurred, faded and almost sunbleached. Paisley remains recognisable, but its outline is allowed to soften, dissolve and reappear.
The palette follows the changing hours of a summer day. Powdery nude tones open the collection before yellows, oranges, blues and greens introduce more colour. Burgundy, brown and black bring a deeper register towards the end. The progression gives Etro’s decorative language a sense of movement without relying on a single dominant print.

Volume carried by movement
The silhouettes continue that approach. Light dresses follow the figure or float around it, with short front hems extending into longer trains behind. Fringes, transparent layers and loosely draped fabrics create different kinds of motion, while suede blousons, denim and sharply cut tailoring bring definition to the wardrobe.

The runway photographs show the effect at both distances. A pale look opens into a long, patterned train, while a shorter silhouette carries the same soft-toned vocabulary closer to the body. In the detail images, a paisley motif sits against a muted pink surface and small woven bags introduce another scale of texture.
House codes, lightly handled

Accessories maintain the collection’s relaxed line. Ballerina flats and gladiator sandals appear alongside cone-heeled shoes with slender, leaf-edged straps. Soft bags follow the shape of the hand or body, extending the sense that the clothes are intended to move with their wearer.
Halo approaches Etro’s history as something that can be altered through light, layering and proportion. Its familiar motifs provide continuity; the new character comes from how gently those motifs are allowed to occupy the cloth.
