For Chopard’s Red Carpet Collection 2026, Caroline Scheufele turns to the natural world’s capacity for surprise. Called Miracles, the collection moves between the scale of a remarkable gemstone and the fleeting life of a flower or an animal. Its ambition is expressed through pieces in which colour and movement do as much of the storytelling as the stones’ size.
A necklace described in the house’s preview places an 88-carat Royal Blue sapphire at its centre. Worked in white gold, it extends into fluid rows of sapphires and aquamarines, with diamonds interrupting the blue. The composition traces an imagined meeting of earth and sky, giving a single substantial gemstone a lighter, cascading setting.

The animal pieces take a more sculptural approach. A phoenix brooch combines rose gold and titanium with emeralds and multicoloured sapphires, arranging its plumage as though the bird has been caught in flight. A carp brooch uses white gold and titanium, with diamonds and sapphires following the curves of its body. In both, the choice and placement of colour help describe motion.
The collection also includes a secret watch formed as a butterfly resting on a flower. A wing closes over the time display, while diamonds and coloured sapphires carry the decorative scene across the piece. A matching brooch extends the idea into jewellery. This small act of concealment brings a playful mechanical gesture to the collection’s study of nature.

The official photographs reveal another aspect of Miracles: its relationship with the wearer. Green and colourless gemstones form strong, architectural accents against fluid eveningwear, while a delicate winged jewel rests across a shoulder. Close-up, colour becomes almost a landscape of its own, shaped by the contrast between saturated green stones and the surrounding sparkle. Presented in the context of Chopard’s longstanding Cannes partnership, Miracles gives that red-carpet setting a detailed vocabulary of natural forms, precious colour and carefully considered proportions.
