The pump provides the clearest expression of Aquazzura’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection. Longer, leaner lasts and sharply pointed or subtly cut-off toes give the shoe a precise outline, drawing on the restrained glamour of early-1990s dressing. Straight and gently curved heels continue that emphasis on line, while the surfaces introduce a more elaborate dimension.
Suede, polished leather, croc-embossed finishes, lace, mesh and satin give the silhouettes different degrees of softness and shine. Tartan and Vichy checks add a tailored note to a palette of beetroot red, aubergine and grey, with muted metallic tones bringing light to the darker colours.
The work within the silhouette
The collection’s named styles each approach the foot differently. Contour pumps use twisting side cut-outs, while Linea pumps introduce a slit at the back. Heart Stopper sling pumps take a graphic approach; Sugar pumps work with nude mesh scattered with crystal floral details.
Lace provides one of the season’s most distinctive textures. It is hand-ruffled on the Lover Lace sandals and combined with crushed velvet on the Velvet Meadow pumps and booties. Elsewhere, floral motifs appear at the back of the pine-green Fleur Sauvage sandals, while small crystals frame the toes of the satin Narcise pumps.
The official campaign puts these details into a composed, cinematic setting. Black clothing, sunlit stone and closely framed footwear allow the shoes to hold the eye. A pink evening bag becomes a bright focal point against a dark shirt, while a wider photograph places the accessories within a poised, dance-like gesture between two figures.
A sculptural finish
The bags carry the same interest in shape. The Cocoon pouch uses supple nappa, while the Belgravia Vanity pairs rounded contours with a polished metal closure. The Phoenix Tote appears in crocheted cotton or suede, with whipstitched edges emphasising the construction. For evening, the Gem Clutch takes its crisp outline from an emerald cut.
Across the collection, Aquazzura gives a familiar wardrobe of pumps, sandals, boots and bags a considered range of expressions. The defining details are close to the object: the edge of a toe, the way lace is worked, the cut of a side panel and the line of a heel.
